Have you tried to pressurize the tank? Vacuum sucked in the corners, pressure may pop them back them out. i fixed my son's gas tank on his Harley that way.

note of caution. make sure you use a VENTED gas cap. During my long E resto, we mixed in a nice looking non vented cap & the negative pressure imploded the new tank in all 4 corners. Un repairable, so got another new one.
