[Chrysler300] 300J sells at Mecum Kissimmee auction

Hello J fans (yes, I know there are a few of you out there in listserver
land):

 

A white 300J has just sold at the Mecum Kissimmee (Florida) auction for
$24500, plus 6% buyers premium (for a total of $25970).  Not mine.  I'd call
it well bought. It was aired live on Velocity channel (and will be repeated
tonight at 9:17pm EST).  This is the car from the Branson Auto Museum.  I
have not seen it in person, but it looked good in the detail of HD
television.  The car looked to have its correct short rams, and claimed to
have an original interior.  The front seats looked redone to me, but the
back seat was original and showed some sun fade on the top of the back
seats.  The car was not 100% correct; e.g. it was missing its "Chrysler"
block lettering from the rear deck lid and had an extra emblem under the
trunk.  Still, it appeared stunning on TV.  It was purchased by a gentleman
whose nametag read "Steve Killian", not a club member in either 300 club as
far as I know.
