RE: [Chrysler300] Replacement for instrument glass glue 55-59



Keith is correct. The "goo" started out as a ring that fit in the grove, and
extended just above the housing where the lens sits. Heat and sun made it
run. Bad choice of material.

  When I was doing my C instruments I asked about this "gray goo" and I
  was told that it actually started out originally as a compressible gray
  gasket material. It was said that it only became a goo as it
  deteriorated over time. Made sense to me. Perhaps someone has
  different information, but that's the way I got it.
