Re: [Chrysler300] Car names

Hi to all in 300sville!

Yes, Melissa, my 300G, was a witch in...well...the satanic bible and NO I'm not satanic!. You see, I used to listen to a lot of heavy metal bands in high school. In the early 80s it was Ozzy, Iron Maiden, and a band called Mercyful Fate. Well, Mercyful Fate's first album was maned Melissa, as well as the song that's on that album. So, there you have it! I also consider Melissa to be Cristine's younger, even bigger sister! Hey, maybe 'Meliissa' can become the sequel to '58 Plymouth...Christine!? Okay, now I'm getting carried away.
By the way, Club member George, from El Cajon, California, I have to thank because he suggested a local place for a tranny for my G. He says this place actually knows the difference between a Powerflite and a Torqueflite. They are aware of the A466 being different from the 727 aluminum! Thanks George! In a couple of months I should have Melissa up and running!! ;-D

Sincerely & 300ly, Brandt H J with a G and a '58 Mercury Montclair.

Most of my cars came with names but, I did name some of them. Every car should have a name.
63 New Yorker Grindelia, from Beowolf.
77 New Yorker Beulah after 1st owner
64 K Patrisha after 1st owner
73 Dodge Dart Custom Ralph, triple green
74 F-100 the John Deere green and yellow
78 New Yorker Rusty Longfellow
79 Cordoba The Roach Coach, had bugs in it
59 Ford 300 Kitty
And the list goes on.....

I did get some work done on the K today. Lubed the window regulators, took up some of the carpet. I'm going to put POR 15 on the floor.
Half the year is dont rain here and the other half it rains off and on all day.
I did get the bottoms of the doors treated and rear 1/4s.

Should have the last of the brakes parts in, so I should have brake by this weekend. Then I can test the trans.
Hope I can get all the done by this weekend. So I can get the H.
It's still at my friends place.
