This is very sad news indeed.  The Lake George Meet was the first meet Bonnie and I attended, and we met and talked to Bill for while the judges were crawling around and under his car.  I was totally in awe of his black 'G', especially the way it sounded with the cam upgrade he had installed during its motor rebuild.
 
Bill told me all about the car and about its restoration.  Needless to say, I really enjoyed our chat.
 
I was very happy that he and his car won top honors at the banquet.  
 
We were honored to be part of the crowd that gave Bill that standing ovation.
