I noted in my initial post that I had misplaced my membership card, which is why I had to ask if these might be for a letter car. I have since found that they are the front half of a 2-4bbl. set up. They are 500 cfm competition models without chokes, so their application is probably limited to that front posision. I am still trying to find out what motors they would be used on, and what type of motor or vehicle they would be used in (Mopar, Chevy, etc) I can't use them and will sell them willingly, but I have to know where to advertise them to find someone who can use them. The 70 Hurst is shown as using 4739 or 4741 w/AC. In different California. it's 4738 or 4740 w/AC That gets us into the range questioned, as the numbers get higher as they produce each different carb. Not sure that makes sense as the normal convention as I understood it was H7 would have been a manufacture date of August 1967 and H8 would have been August 1968 - but most of the 67/68 Chrysler Carters were 43xx and 44xx series - possibly aftermarket?
