[Chrysler300] The Only One (Almost)

 Just returned from the Syracuse Nationals. Over 8000 cars of all kinds - except 300's ! Our 62 Sport was the lone 55 - 65 token rep there. Lot's of comment's on our car like " my dad had one of those" and from the under 30 crowd - " I didn't know they made 300's back then!" Anyhow, our car got lots of looks and comments - You had to feel a bit sorry for the Chevelle owners also - there were only about 400 of them there! 1955 - 57 Chevy's were also poorly represented (300 or so). I'm sure if you had a well stocked toolbox and a pocket full of money, you could have bought enough reproduction parts to assemble and drive home a brand new, never been driven before, Chevelle, Camaro, or 57 Chev - your choice.  As I toured the swap parts section and the venders I noticed one thing for sure - not a single Chrysler part for sale - nos or used - I suppose we all know and have been through this in our search for parts for our beasts. Just as Adelle and I were packing up for our drive home, a fellow with a 56 B pulled up beside us - he just rolled in to see the show - he was arriving and we were leaving - so now there were 2 of us!
