Re: [Chrysler300] Dr. Colorchip

I used Dr. Colorchip on my 300K which had been repainted (before I owned it) Royal Turquoise in base coat clear coat. I used it to repair a couple of small nicks. It takes a bit of practice to get it right, but if you follow the instructions, it works quite well. My car was repainted using the original paint color code & the kit matched the color perfectly. I don't believe it would match original aged paint, as some areas under hood on my car that were not repainted are considerably darker. The nicks I repaired were almost impossible to see after repair & I was quite satisfied with the result.

Limited experience. I've bought two separate kits from them. Haven't had the chance (balls?) to actually try them out. Know it's top rated by the Wall Street Journal.

You thinking of using this on an older car, Terry?
