Hi Tony, I am certainly no expert on this subject, and probably shouldn't even offer my opinion. But I will anyway, and others can correct me if I'm wrong. >From the feel of the lever when activating the signal lights, it appears that the lever is held in place, either to the right or left by the electromagnet until the steering wheel is turned to the position that turns off the current to the magnet.
