Back in the fall of 1991, the now defunct SoCal 300 Group hosted a weekend meet in Cambria, California. The hotel where we stayed had a resident male peacock with full plumage. When club member Ed Kosick arrived with his beautiful 1963 300 Pacesetter convertible, nicely painted in the famous Pacesetter peacock blue, the resident peacock, with an obviously PISSED expression on his beak, spent the next TWO HOURS pacing around that convertible, frequently pecking at the bumpers as he paced. Afterwards, he wasn't seen again until after Ed left the hotel.

I think Mike Moore should remember this. I have a picture somewhere, but can't place my hands on it right now.
