Hello to all: I had to replace both hoses on power steering pump as they were deteriorated and started leaking, especially the high pressure hose. New hoses attached and now the PS system "groans" and makes noise. Seems to work OK, i.e., power steering works. It was completely free of noise before the hose change. I suspect air in the system. I removed top fill cap and drained a little off the reservoir as it was full to top. I ran the steering wheel side to side at a little above idle speed. I thought I'd see bubbles or the system trying to purge itself. No success. Shop manual doesn't help much. Any suggestions or comments would me most appreciated.
