Re: [Chrysler300] Really neat article on the turbine car in Reminisce magazine

I remember seeing one in the parking lot at the new Whitehall Mall near Allentown, PA back in about 1964 or 65. My grandmother took my brother, sister, and I shopping for school clothing, but I didn't go into Sears with them, I hung out at that car until the driver came back to his car. I started asking him questions, and he spent some time showing my around the car, telling me he had to write down all the things he liked and disliked about it. I remember the awesome feeling I got when he opened the hood and exposed that engine. And I can still hear the exhaust sound from when he pulled out of the parking lot. I wished I had a camera then. I later built a Johan model kit of the car, which is still in my model display case at home. That experience could have been the first time I was bitten by the car bug.

I saw one at Hershey PA a few years back. It was purported to be the
other' one in private hands besides the Leno car.
