I just had to buy a title bond here in Arkansas and the cost is $10.00 per
Thousand of value, $100.00 Min.
The state decided my 2001 Dodge Ram was worth $11,850.00, so the bond cost
was $118.50.
My bill of sale and the copy of the ebay page it was bought on showed
$3850.00 paid.
They used that value when I registered it, so I paid no tax on it, being
under $5000.00 paid.
Bond and fees for tags total was $128.50, another great reason to live in
AR!
