Think I put Chrysler police wheels 15 X7 or 8 on one car, they are repro’ed now, 4.5” , also have good luck with Cragar black steel wheels,(JEGS) I use with 15 or 16” trim rings ; have put 16” on 4.5 78 Dodge truck, replaced late JEEP aluminum (MOPAR) , wheels that always leak with 16” cragars too. Have used Jeep size, xxx mm to 5”, it fits , confusion about all that, it is the same wheel size , expressed in mm, I think. . also Cragar is way to get 8” X 16 “ on 4.5 , which looks really great with modern lower profile tires . Another Dodge truck, 78 4wd stepside , I converted to 5.5 to get strong (GM size) warn front hubs, used 16 X8 Cragars on that too ; aftermarket axles in truck rear too, 5.5 . Dodge full time 4wd setup in 70’s nothing but trouble. 4.5 inch warn hubs are a joke , even if you do that. Chev outer 4wd knuckle fits Dodge 44 front axle! Everything 2x stronger Obviously stock 300 hubcaps do not go .Thought about making some kind of adapter ring, but SS trim rings look great. The offset was incorrect, and the rims did not set far enough out to the wheel well, as if they were too narrow . . . and the wheels fouled the AAJ front disc brake conversion. Note: the bolt pattern on a current 300 is 115mm...4.5 inches on our Letter Cars equals 114.7mm. My 300 cents' worth. Make sure to test fit a wheel cover in addition to the wheel itself. I have come across a set of very inexpensive steel wheels from a Dodge Intrepid. They are supposedly 5 x 4.5 bolt circle, but I'm not sure about hub center bore or wheel depth as far as them being able to go over my rear drums or my front disc brakes. Any ideas?
