I have 17" aluminum factory 2007 Chrysler 300 rims on my 64. I had to use adapters because the 2007 wheels are designed for disc brakes. I have since installed SSBC disc brakes on the front and no longer need the adapters on the front. Rear wheels still have drums and the adapters. 300 regards...George Ver Berkmoes ---- John <spiers@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Hi all, > I trial-fitted 17" stock steel rims from a 2006 300 on my '64. The offset was incorrect, and the rims did not set far enough out to the wheel well, as if they were too narrow . . . and the wheels fouled the AAJ front disc brake conversion. > Note: the bolt pattern on a current 300 is 115mm...4.5 inches on our Letter Cars equals 114.7mm. > My 300 cents' worth. > John Spiers > K > ------------------------------------ To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to bob@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or go to http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/Chrysler300/join and select the "Leave Group" button For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylangYahoo Groups Links <*> To visit your group on the web, go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Chrysler300/ <*> Your email settings: Individual Email | Traditional <*> To change settings online go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Chrysler300/join (Yahoo!
