You might be getting into 426 piston sizes , which is OK , --If
mine I would have .060 block sonic checked for wall thickness , might be OK 10
or 20 more (piston size issue, core shift issue ) =my .02. Or go 440 , no real problems , beyond using right crank for
transmission you have , which might lead to need to balance assy John From:

The 413 in my G is .060 over and worn out, so I need a new long
block at the least. Question: How does the 440 run with the cross rams? Or
should I try to find a 413? Thanks! Dan
