Re: [Chrysler300] worthwhile eBay searches

Ebay's goal is to keep you on the site for as long as possible. That's why they 'lard up' your search results results with all that useless junk. Here's one way around it. You'll notice that a lot of the junk says, for example, "fits 1961 Chrysler". So in your search, type '1961 Chrysler -fits', which will filter out all results with the word 'fits' included.

Subject: [Chrysler300] worthwhile eBay searches

EBay is definitely a useful source for hard to find parts for our cars, but it has gotten so polluted with junk that comes up on a basic search that it can be a frustrating experience.  If you type in 1961 Chrysler, for instance, over 16,000 items come up, mostly useless junk like leopard skin seat covers and other aftermarket nonsense.  Is there a trick that can be used to get actual Chrysler parts only to come up?  It's really getting quite frustrating to use.  Thoughts anyone?
