Hi All, I am running a single Carter AFB 3256SA on my ’63 Chrysler 300 Conv with a 413. I have heard a suggestion to “upgrade to new technology” and get one of the latest and greatest Edelbrock 4 barrel carbs. The 300 is completely stock and that is what I prefer, but if the performance and gas mileage would be improved, I may be willing to make the switch. The 413 was just rebuilt in the last 3 years and is running strong. Your comments are appreciated, especially a suggested Edelbrock model that would be similar to stock. Regards, Mark Lindahl P.S. The 3256SA has been rebuilt by me. It runs well, but I am pretty sure it would run a bit better if it was professionally rebuilt. __._,_.___ Posted by: "Mark Lindahl" <mplindahl@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to bob@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or go to http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/Chrysler300/join and select the "Leave Group" button For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylang __,_._,___ |
