The driver’s door on my G is hitting the latch a little low and some upward motion is necessary to get it to fully close. Looks like there may be some play at the hinge. I looked through the archives and noticed the following as a recommended set of parts for rebushing and a new hinge pin: “The manufacturer is Counterpart Automotive and it has two part numbers on it 55-46335-S and 60-46335-S Fits 1955-91 Truck 1955-60 Full size passenger car 1970 -81 Camaro.” This was in the context of an earlier 300 model. Is rebushing and a new hinge pin the conventional wisdom on dealing with a loose hinge? What else should I be looking at to diagnose the situation? Anyone know if the above is useable on a G? I notice NAPA has several similar sets but of course none are specified for a G. Any advice on a suitable part would be appreciated.
