Just a story to pass along. A couple of years ago I completed restoration of a ’57 Olds 98 cvt and took it to the national Oldsmobile Club meet. The judges found a couple things to deduct points for, but not enough to keep it from getting a first place award. On the viewing lot the next morning, an older gentleman came up and asked if I really wanted to know what was wrong with the car. I always want to know as much as I can, so I said sure. We went over the car and he pointed out over 20 items he said were incorrect. I was stunned! When I got home, I researched every single thing he had noted, and sure enough, he was correct. I then corrected every item. But I was sure lucky that he was not the judge that show and that he came along and offered to help. __._,_.___ Posted by: "Warren Wubker" <wubker@xxxxxxxxxx> To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to bob@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or go to https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/all/manage/edit For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylang __,_._,___ |
