[Chrysler300] 61 R41 HP Block for sale

Hi All,

First shot at this goes to club members.

6/26 stamp date with a 4/27/61 casting date.

Casting number 1852029-4.

The block looks like a heavy duty version. It’s standard bore, and will need a complete rebuild. It has one oversize lifter bore. I talked to my machinist yesterday, and it would be about $375 to bush a single lifter bore, or about $650 for all 16. Most of the price is in the set-up labor.

The crank and bearings showed normal wear.

I have pictures for those interested.

$1,500 for the complete short block without sheet metal.

I would prefer not to ship, and a pickup truck with cash in hand talks best.
