It is possible the Hayden 2705 may work on some of the later Letter cars. I have to admit to having a relatively small knowledge base about the later cars, and I just don't know. The 2705 is 0.80" taller (longer) than the thermally activated clutches I am preparing, and it's also about 3/4" larger in diameter. The large diameter may look odd, but that should not affect its ability to get the job done. However the 0.80 longer dimension will not fit between the water pump and the radiator on the '57-'58, and perhaps several later models as well.Measure your car carefully before you rip it all apart in your driveway, only to find you've got a part that won't work.Keith Boonstra-On Mon, Jun 15, 2015 at 6:55 AM, Bob Merritt bob@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [Chrysler300] <Chrysler300-noreply@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:

(everything I have is old)
It says Hayden 2705.
That might be the number you are looking for.

I found a Hayden fan clutch at NAPA a few years ago that is 100% bolt-in on my "F". It fit perfectly. I'm assuming (perhaps falsely) that the "G" fan clutch is the same, or the same specifications. I'll look for the Hayden part number today, and post it if I can find it.Hayden did have a comprehensive specification listing for all their fan clutches online. I don't find it now.

The NAPA number for the Jag fan clutch is 274328, in the TEM line. Fits various Jaguars, sixes and V12s 1985-96. The one on my G fits fine, although it had to do some enlarging of the bolt holes when I used the same number on my 59 Plymouth fitted with a 383. Cost is around $50/60 locally, $85/90 list.

Subject: [Chrysler300] 300G clutch fan
I remember in the past someone mentioned a Jaguar clutch fan fit the 300G, has anyone tried this and do you remember what year Jag the fan was from. Or does anyone else know of where to buy a fan that would fit. Thanks
