While on vacation in Alabama in June, the Hot Rod Tour descended on our motel. One car I was especially interested in was a mid 60’s full sized wagon, I think Plymouth, or Dodge. I talked at length with the owner and found he had a 440 engine, with Edelbrock heads and intake manifold. It was fuel injected and he had made the conversion a few years ago. He said he really liked the way it always started instantly and had lots of power. I was intrigued by the idea of unbolting my stock heads, carbs, and intake manifold and carbs, and doing the same thing. I’d crate the old parts and save to go with my car . Has anyone done this?
