Re: [Chrysler300] Need a 300B intake manifold

Michael & All
Several years ago I talked to a fellow in Idaho (maybe Utah or Montana, I really don't recall)..anyway, I purchased some Long Ram 2903's carburator's and air cleaners from him. He had extras. The reason was he modified his long ram with fuel injection throttle bodies replacing the carb's and modified the runners with injector ports. I always wondered how exactly he did it, the mounting of the injectors, adding a boss and TIG welding it. Once you started these modifications there would be no turning back. Any way, that is what I think the next step from the "Short" Long Ram from carbs to FI, all the "Sonic" stuff would still work, I think it would be incredible...If I only had the skills and most of all the nerve to sacrifice my Ram for these modifications. Something to consider.

While on vacation in Alabama in June, the Hot Rod Tour descended on our motel.  One car I was especially interested in was a mid 60’s full sized  wagon, I think Plymouth, or Dodge. I talked at length with the owner and found he had a 440 engine, with Edelbrock heads and intake manifold. It was fuel injected and he had made the conversion a few years ago. He said he really liked the way it always started instantly and had lots of power.

I was intrigued by the idea of unbolting my stock heads, carbs, and intake manifold and carbs, and doing the same thing. I’d crate the old parts and save to go with my car . Has anyone done this?
