Val, Well, I’m scratching my head on that one. Based on my research and observation, a 300G built in Feb of 1961 should not have push button vent windows and should have “300” on the trunk lid. Of course, its possible the “300 “ got left off, but the push button vent windows I’ve only seen on very early cars. Does the passenger side exhaust manifold look like it was cut off at an angle in the front? The early cars had that, evidently a left over from the generator mount. Just wonder why they stopped is anyone’s guess. Also my vents have the push buttons on the latches.
