[Chrysler300] 1957 Rear axle casting nr

 Howdy
 Just back from down under my 300c conv, now looking for inputs about my rear axle.. Any idea on this setup? mid section has the cross cast on the passanger side  On flat area center section passanger side we read  stamped 3:15
 Driver side casting reads  .4.   (A)  in an circle and cast nr reads 1820657.
 Any idea if this is the original or not?  my tranny was not,  was an 58service R tranny...has had a go on and off several times..
 Not anything on bolts fastners etc tells rear end has been out of car before,, any idea?
