Funny, here we don't normally have any plastic to recondition even. But we do have great sheet, metal floor pans, castings, engines and transmissions. That make great trading material.

I do not think it unusual to pay $700 for a pair of NOS lenses. It took me 15 years to find them, many years ago. 8 years for a set of G wheel covers like new. 2 years to find an anti stall dashpot. I guess it depends on how nice of restoration you want.
