Without a little more information there's a lot of guess work for your diagnosis. If you are able to get an immediate restart without extended cranking I would be suspicious of an electrical problem, but I don't think that's your issue. If you need to wait for a few minutes and can restart it with some extended cranking it's likely that you have a fuel supply restriction. It's possible that a fuel line is kinked or collapsed, but maybe more likely there's a clogged sock on the pickup tube inside the fuel tank or even possibly a tank vent problem. You should disconnect the fuel line from the carburetor, devise a fuel capture device and crank the engine (with coil wire disconnected from the distributor and grounded) for 15 seconds and then evaluate the fuel quantity delivered to your capture system. I think you'll find it deficient. That should be done immediately after the engine stalls------before it sets long enough for fuel to re-enter the pick-up sock filter. ---------mg Please note: message attached From: "'Jerry Lindsay' jerrylindsay300h@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [Chrysler300]" <Chrysler300-noreply@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [Chrysler300] 1962 413 shutting down Date: Fri, 20 Dec 2019 00:43:13 -0500 ____________________________________________________________ Urologist Tells Men To "Fix" Their ED With This New Trick!
