However the article had an error that is very common to information on The Forward Look. The Forward Look began in 1955 when the all new models designed under the direction of Virgil Exner were introduced. It continued in 1956 when fins were added to all
the lines. And then of course, the dramatic 1957's appeared with a real emphasis on the fins and many other innovations including Torsionnaire Ride (torsion bar suspension) which allowed for the extra low lines of the cars.
