Sounds like someone gave up on the cancel switch and threw away ? Usually on same metal bracket as horn contact .. what you describe is for horn . — unless something new on 62 . All my experience with 61 and 60 , always thought identical setup ?

there is no cancelling switch or devise on my 62 Sport that i can figure out ?????

don't throw it away.

We are looking at a project to build a modern switch
