I saw info on that way back where there was a cable to the door hinge that I think unlatched  seat . 

forget where I saw that , a drawing of a mechanism . But I have never seen it in reality . From an engineering perspective  with traveling seat , easier to do electrically  ?

Swivel Seats  Sales literature of the period (1960-ish) seemed to suggest  that , on cars equipped with swivel seats, the seats would swivel out whenever the car's door was opened.   I have owned 3 300Fs, and none of these had this "feature".  Anybody out there have any information  about this swivel seat characteristic?  Terry McTaggart
