Thanks for the update. From: chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jamie Hyde I just returned from the Chrysler Event at Carlisle in PA. where I spoke with Dave (Quirey Quality Designs) and Chris (Legendary Auto Interiors) about seat foams, both have stated the same thing, seat foam chemicals are in very short supply, if you can even get them at all. This is only a temporary situation, it is covid related at the chemical factory and should be easing shortly. Legendary has a year supply of the chemicals but, they have a half year backlog of orders, and they do not stock seat foam, everything is made to order. Dave had been checking with his foam supplier every few days. Dave told me that his supplier saw an increase from $200 a tank of the chemical to $2000 dollars a tank most recently. Dave stated that he cannot justify the huge price increase he would have to charge us for seat foam and is waiting to order when the costs come down. Dave feels this price drop will happen very soon. I called Bob Baker (ABC Moparts) as he was not at the Carlisle show. Bob told me that in Arizona he cannot get supplies to make his dash pads, or arm rests at all. As soon as I hear something I will pass it along to the club. Dave asked that you send an email to Todd every few days to check and see if the status of your seat foam has gone into production.
