On this note, for the iron TorqueFlite A466, does anyone have a resource for the Mopar inline (external) transmission fluid filter (NOS or accurate replacement)?

It is barrel shaped with threaded fittings on both ends, and fits inline with the steel remote fluid cooler line next to front subframe.

Another (power)train of thought for a transmission pan gasket is to use a small smear of new grease to hold the gasket in place.  This way, there is no silicone or other gasket sealer to get into the transmission internals.

I’m also going to change the speedometer cable and would like to locate the best source.  I’m seeing different lengths listed.  Any tips on this?
