The modern (Dodge truck) Mopar reusable transmission pan gasket (part number 2464324AC) is great but I don’t think it would fit the cast iron TF for 1960. It will fit the ’62 and up 727 TF.

For what it's worth, last time I used the Mopar pan gasket with steel core plus integral red, silicone rubber around bolt holes and along the lengths of the gasket. A greatly improved design. Used nothing in addition to the new pan gasket, and seemed to do very well. No longer have that car so can't say if still doing the job, but was way better in my opinion that parts store gasket and then trying to seal it.

Another (power)train of thought for a transmission pan gasket is to use a small smear of new grease to hold the gasket in place. This way, there is no silicone or other gasket sealer to get into the transmission internals.
