Kissimmee gets the best prices for sure, just like BJ in Phoenix in January. Terra Cotta waa 10% of the run I’m told, so very rare. Regrettably, I think we’re aging out here a bit and the market is moving to later stuff and because the Letter cars began to compromise on engines, shared chassis and New Yorker optioned wannabees, I think the pinnacle is 60, ’61 and we fade from there. I’m suspect of auctions these days anyway and if money gets tighter it will bear on the discretionary buyer. My guess is it might make $200k unless the buyer was into the sauce or is trying to impress somebody with foolish money. It only takes one liquored up, paddle happy, wealthy guy. I’ll bet if we members search our souls and pocket books, not many, if any of us, would pay up near $290k as an investment quality F Convertible. Easy to buy, harder to sell. My 2c and worth every penny. m
