That heater valve is for Imperials.

Check out these two pages from JC Auto. If your valve is structurally sound, you can get it rebuilt.

1887699 - JC Auto Restoration, Inc.

2084460 - JC Auto Restoration, Inc.

Hi All,

I am in heater control valve hell. I will not bore people with the details. What I need to ID is a valve that I got from Murray Park. My original was MOPAR # 1972779. This is also the number in the 1964 Master Parts Book.

What I would like to know is if a 2084460 shows up as a later replacement unit.

Thanks, James
