RE: {Chrysler 300} Anyone have a later MOPAR supersede parts book?

The Imperial valve should be interchangeable with the Chrysler valve.  Most of the valves were Ranco H16 valves.  H16s are not all physically identical, however, but based on my experience the functionality seems to be the same.   The springs and capillary tube might be a little different.   The valve body can be reversed on some valves, but will still fit and work OK.  The heater inlet hose should be hooked up to the valve body inlet (the curved tube).   Check how the valve works prior to installation.   Parts could be reversed.   Doesn’t matter as long as the coolant flow direction is correct.  I have used Joe Hudacek in Wisconsin for rebuilds in the past and have been pleased with results.

Changing the valve on the ’63-’64 Chrysler with A/C is a bit of a pain.  We have a page on this: www.chrysler300club.com/how/hvalve/hv.html

That heater valve is for Imperials.
