Hi All, Does anyone have an absolutely known original to the car 1964 Chrysler midland ross, clamp type, power brake booster with the push rod handy? What I would like is a photo of the pushrod placed on a ruler and/or the measurement from the
end booster end to the center of the cross bolt “eye” and from the end to the opposite end that hits the brake switch. If you look over the factory service booklets, for 1964, they state that the “new” Midland booster that is clamped together has a DIFFERENT pedal height and that the booster, the pushrod (pedal to booster) and the pin rod (Booster to master
cylinder) are a matched set and place the brake pedal LOWER than 1963 and more even with the throttle. So many of these units have been swapped around that definitive data is not forthcoming. So, if anyone has ever noted those lengths of the pin or and/or the pushrod for 1964, I would be thankful to know them.
