I am referring to the actual stich style on the sewing machine. Pleats can be achieved with one of several stick types. I am trying to find out which one was used by Chrysler. For a quick primer on the subject see: http://www.secondchancegarage.com/how-to/upholstery-2-1.cfm James From: finsruskw@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx <finsruskw@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
300 K’s had a steel back side to them. No fabric shows and the seam where the fabric goes under the steel shell is wrapped with a chromed metal trim piece

Anyone have a photo of the back side of a 300K leather seat? I want to see what kind of pleat they used. I want to know if they did a Flat Seam, French Seam or sew through for the pleating?
