Thanks Dave, I see which method they used of the several available to create the pleating. I cannot wait on Legendary until September. I also need to rebuild the front door panels as the tops have worn through.
There is a debate going on in our house and with several of my classic car friends, who also have some concourse cars, as to if I should bother with leather or use the new state of the art micro-fiber faux leather. This stuff wears very well and of course do not have the issue of hide waste. Since the sides of the seats and all the other parts of the interior are vinyl, then it would be easier to just buy one vinyl for use on everything.
I always have my upholsterers when they make up seat pleats make up a spare set of the pleat sections to store just in case a seat needs to be repaired. Once set up and rolling it is not that big of a deal. Thanks for the photos. Those combined with some measurements off members cars in the next month or so should be enough to get the job done.
