I added the bumps to the wheel. Did not make any difference. Like I said, my folks BRAND NEW 1964 300K had an issue with the hubcaps as have all five I have owned. For shows and low milage I am fine with them, but for daily driving or lots

If you don't have these, you can line the rim with a good fabric tape. Wheel covers stay in place.
