1965 is a one year only style transmission in C bodies. All column or console shift via cables, no push buttons at all.Scott--On Sat, Jun 17, 2023 at 9:39 PM 'James Douglas' via Chrysler 300 Club International <chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:Can anyone tell me if there is a way to ID if a 727 trans is a cable shift versus a console shift from the outside?I have a trans that is an EARLY 1965 spare. Rail number F2466112 1587547 which should mean Flint Wednesday December 1st 1965.This in the MPB shows as an early 1965 383-413 with 4-BBL.It is a flange not a yoke type. I understand they did a mod-year change from flange to yoke.I would like to know if it was a console versus a push button without having to open it up.Thanks, James--
