I believe it was my article about making a bracket to mount an alternator on my F. The bracket was designed to bolt directly to the manifold, just as the generator was bolted in. Works just fine. Many members at the Pasadena meet chatted about it with me. I do not think the original F heads were drilled for an alternator bracket installation. and you may have to modify the original F exhaust manifold as well. not good.
