{Chrysler 300} 1962 Speedo Cable Grommet

Here’s something odd….

I ordered 2 Speedometer Cable Grommets from Quirey that live in the firewall.

I ordered Part #111; as found on page #21….

I pulled out the old grommet to put in the new.

The new is too small a diameter to live in the factory firewall hole.

I checked another ’62 Chrysler I have = Same story.

Quirey is sending me an alternate grommet to see if its right; which is very nice of them.

Anyone else have this experience with a Speedo Cable Grommet for 1962 cars?
