I recall seeing a clip about high resistance found in a battery cable terminal end causing problems. Have you checked to see if the voltage at the starter is the same as the battery while cranking? If your starter is worn out/bad, why not get it reconditioned or replaced with another? How many millions and millions of satisfactory hot starts have been made with these starters over the past 60 years? Can the same be said of these new alternative starters? Henry From: chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Michael Marmorale Hello all I got the G running and driving! Finally. It is very hard to start when hot, the starter barley turns the motor over. Cranks fine cold, and I just put in a new group 27 battery. It feels like the starter is tired. Is there a high torque starter that will bolt onto the bellhousing? I’m running the cast iron torqueflite. Any recommendations?
