Just a heads-up. Red is one of the hardest colors to match. Especially since the paint has probably faded in the last 60+ years. The only way you’ll be happy is with a paint blend and even that isn’t guaranteed, especially if it’s a metallic. Ron From: chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx On Behalf Of Drew W Carl I am in need of a good body and paint shop, concourse level to prep and paint a trunk lid for a red 62 300. The car is all original paint except the original lid had inclusion in it so I need to replace it. The replacement I have is in good solid shape, I am sure will need some prep work but great starting point. My biggest concern is the color match as I can not blend it because I do not want to disturb original paint. I want to just do this trunk lid and swap it to keep the originality. Not afraid to drive a ways. The biggest thing is that it is done right the first time and last the life time of the car. I have been waiting on a local shop for 2 years with no results. I think they just don't want to get into it because they know how picky I will be about the color match. Any help is much appreciated. --
