The 65 trans is one year only, as it has a slip yoke and cable shift. You would need a custom drive shaft. The valve body on console K's and 65 transmissions are also different from push button cars. There is an extra position on the rooster comb.Don--Anyone put a 1965 transmission into a 1963 or 1964? If so, did you have to have a custom driveshaft made? I see that the 1965 car has a two inch longer wheelbase so I'd assume that affects the driveshaft.Thanks, Nick
