Hi all,
Two things to ask this time around.
1; Would anybody happen to have or know where my 392 engine is? I finally found the engine number on my frame. It's
3NE 571869. It's not that I want it back, I would just like to know if it's still out there somewhere.
You see, I bought my 300C without an engine. The only clues I can provide to this story are the ones the seller told me, which he had gotten from the seller before him and so on.
The car was in the Washington State area in the 1960s-70s. A) The engine and transmission were removed for unknown reasons. The garage caught fire and the car was saved, but not the engine. B) The seller said years ago in his neighborhood, he had heard
that there was a street rod, hot rod in the area that had a 300C engine in it.
2; My 300C has the Philco radio "Music Master" Model 847, Philco model C-05705, Part Number 78-2203. It's the 5-button unit. It doesn't work. Has anybody had any luck getting these repaired? Has anybody had this unit re-worked with modern technology?
I'm sure this has been discussed many times here.....lol
Best regards,
Warren Anderson
