{Chrysler 300} 300K throttle return spring

Curious as to has anyone bought a throttle return spring that they are happy with? Or still have the factory spring on their car w/number of coils?

The 64 K single carb has a one year only return spring 2463 742 which shows no specs in the parts book. I have Dorman universal spring kit, and just not finding the happy medium to return all that linkage at idle and not have a too strong a pedal.
