Did you every change the filter? When the milage goes up they clog up. Pull the pan, clean it out, change the filter. Refill with new fluid and see if it moves.

and was slow to build pressure from neutral to drive or reverse. Also you would have to let off the throttle for it to shift. I then drained a quart of the fluid and added some Lucas Trans-Fix Goo. Basically died right after that
